Enlisted for three years on 14 Aug 1862 at Christiania. Mustered 25 Oct 1862 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bounty $100, $75 still due at muster out. Private. Absent sick at Helena, Arkansas, since 13 Aug 1863. Private Johan Anderson on 10 Mar 1865 is on detached service at Mobile Point, Alabama, guarding commissary supplies. Rejoined H Company on 17 May 1865. Mustered out with company on 29 Aug 1865 at Brownsville, Texas. Post war: Buried in York cemetery, Blanchardville, Wisconsin.
