Was moved to a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee on 3 Mar 1863 and was there until May. Discharged from the service for disability on 20 Jun 1863 at Camp Dennison, Ohio. Re-enlisted for three years on 27 Jan 1864 at Manitowoc. Mustered 22 Feb 1864 at Madison, Wisconsin. Private. Engaged in the Siege of Atlanta in 1864.
