Wounded in Battle of Stone’s River, Tennessee, on 31 Dec 1862 and sent to hospital in Nashville. Discharged from the service for disability, Louisville, Kentucky, 18 Sep 1863. Post war: He lived at Dawson, Minnesota. A veteran named Syvert A. Anderson, living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in February 1882 was granted a pension of $4 a month because of a gunshot wound to his left foot.
